Accepted funding
- Medicare — available under a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP) (MBS item 10960). A referral from your GP is required.
- DVA — available for eligible veterans under Gold and White cards.
- NDIS — available to NDIS participants (self-managed, plan-managed, and NDIA-managed).
- Support at Home — available to older Australians on a Support at Home package (the Australian Government’s in-home aged care program). Physiotherapy is funded as an allied health and therapy service, providing clinical support that promotes independence, identifies goals, and maximises wellbeing and capacity through person-centred interventions. Access requires a My Aged Care assessment.
- Private — fee-for-service sessions for clients without other funding.
Private health insurance
River Physiotherapy does not currently offer on-site private health fund rebate processing. Patients pay in full and submit their receipt to their insurer for reimbursement.
Payment & cancellation
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for any cancellation or reschedule.
