Over 20 years of experience in the social welfare sector across counselling, case work, group work, and service management. Atanas integrates evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions with contemplative practices grounded in mindfulness, yoga, and meditation, to support holistic well-being. Outside work, he plays and records music, maintains a long-standing yoga practice, spends time in nature, and enjoys time with his family.

BSc Physiotherapy · Postgraduate qualification in Traumatology and Orthopaedics · Master of Rehabilitation Sciences (University of São Paulo) · AHPRA Reg. PHY0001364613

Over 25 years of experience across orthopaedics and manual therapy, adult neurological rehabilitation, aged care and falls prevention, women’s health, and paediatric rehabilitation. Trained in São Paulo, with postgraduate training in manual therapy methods including the RPG Souchard method and Maitland technique. Outside work, she coaches her children’s winter soccer team and enjoys playtime with Oscar, the family cobberdog.

Our admin team supports the smooth running of River Clinical, handling appointment scheduling, billing, referrals, and Medicare/DVA claims.

Theresa

Practice Manager

Theresa is the founder of TMA Virtual Solutions and provides remote practice management support to River Clinical, with a strong focus on supporting psychologists and allied health practices. Her work includes email and calendar management, data entry, invoicing, reconciliation, and the day-to-day administrative tasks that keep the practice running smoothly so that clinicians can focus on client care.

Outside her professional work, Theresa is a dedicated volunteer wildlife carer based in Tasmania, supporting orphaned and injured native animals — with a particular love for wombats and joeys — through Wildlife Rehab Retreat.

Therapy Dog in Training

Oscar is a valued member of the River Clinical team. A cobberdog with a calm and gentle presence, he is currently in training as a therapy dog and will soon help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients attending the practice.
